Why did I grow my beard? Got out of the military and decided to do the main thing we were not allowed to do.

How do I feel about my beard? Freakin' love it. Won't shave it for anything. If I die without a beard down to my nipples, I will be disappointed in my life. Will also put in my will that if my beard gets so much as trimmed after my death, all my assets will go to charity.
