Why did I grow my beard? Partly to see if I could and partly to honor my beliefs

How do I feel about my beard? I love it. It's taken me most of my life to this point to try and find my own style. Since growing my beard I feel strangely fulfilled. It seems to match my personality. I'm fortunate that my employment as a peace officer does not affect my choice as it is part of our policies.
