Had a full beard within weeks of graduation in 1977. Then had it off and on until I finally worked for a company that allowed it.

How do I feel about my beard? Most folks wouldn't recognize me without it. It is as much of who I am as my eye color or height. My children and grandkids have never seen me without it.
