Why did I grow my beard? Originally, my former roommate and I were trying to exercise more and be healthier all around. The initial pact was that you were only allowed to be clean-shaven after you lost thirty pounds. I liked my beard so much, that I kept it.

How do I feel about my beard? I love my beard. I honestly feel naked without it. I've had it at various lengths over the last four years and like doing different things with it. In the last four years, I've only been clean-shaven once and hated every minute of it.
