I believe the bear is the most dangerous, fierce, respected monster of the animal kingdom. So I'm more or less doing it for the bears. They would want it this way and might I add that sometimes I hike in the Adirondacks and search for bears to wrestle with and there is no way a man can do that beardless.

How do I feel about my beard? I feel a beard is a lot like a can of beans, it's better with age and tastes like maple syrup if you're lucky.
