I started growing my beard when I found out my wife was pregnant with twins. I told myself I would grow it until they were born. My job wasn't going for it (assistant principal) but I was able to keep the goatee portion. For some reason the middle section directly under my chin wasn't growing as long as the sides of the goatee. When I went on paternity leave I decided to go with the friendly mutton chops look.

How do I feel about my beard? I love it. My wife hates it. My friends get a kick out of it. They say it looks like a wolverine type thing.
