I grew my beard because I wanted to grow it back after shaving it off in 2005. I also wanted to see how long it would grow. Turns out that it's wavy when it gets long.

How do I feel about my beard? Sometimes I think about trimming it back to a short box style. But when you have so much time invested in a long beard, any kind of trim seems almost sad and wasteful. I did have it trimmed by a beard barber this year and I'm glad I did. I'm not going to risk trimming it on my own again.
