I grew my beard because I can. I grew my first beard in 2007 and I was initially inspired by a photo of my Dad. I'm a musician and I was inspired by other musicians with beards, such as Sam Beam of Iron and Wine, members of Bon Iver, and Band of Horses, etc.

I love having a beard and I don't plan on ever being without one.

How do I feel about my beard? I submitted a photo one year ago and I'm completely satisfied with the way it's grown over the past two years.

It's a big part of who I am now and I love it!
