It started out of our family Decembeard tradition when I was eighteen in 2007. My beard wasn't so good back then, but we continued the tradition. When I turned twenty, I realized the beard was full enough to keep it more than a month.

The beard in this photo has been growing since about mid-January 2011, about three months at the time that the photo was taken.

How do I feel about my beard? Haters gonna hate. I love my beard. If a lady doesn't want to talk to me because of my beard, I didn't want to talk to her anyway. That's how I roll.
