Initially, I started growing a beard because of laziness. Shaving became a chore and I was never satisfied with the resulting razor burn. I think the straw that broke the camel's back for me was watching Motorhead perform a Ramones cover live. I was mesmerized by Lemmy's friendly chops.

How do I feel about my beard? I love my chops. Since 2004, I've only shaved them off once based on a respectable recommendation that I should do so for a job interview. I aspire to have handlebar sideburns. I've just completed my second "no shave November" and I'm very excited for the possibilities.
