My classmates knew I had the best beard pattern in our school and that I was one of the fastest beard growers. So they asked me if I could grow it for a month and see how it turned out. I was sure it was going to look ugly, but it turned out really nice. So I kept it.

How do I feel about my beard? It has always been a dream of mine to have a beard, even since young childhood, and so in a sense I have always had a beard -- just not on the outside. As a result, I feel growing a large beard makes me more myself than I would have been without it.
