Why did I grow my beard? Dress codes both in high school then in the Air Force left me wanting more out of life than a can of shaving cream and a razor every morning. So I quit shaving. The beard started out of a dislike of shaving, but has come into its own now and after a few modifications and changes to the original, I call it me.

How do I feel about my beard? My beard is me. I wouldn't be me without it. And I am intensely proud of it!
