Ever since I started getting hair on my chin in middle school, I always thought, "I think one day I'll be able to grow a really awesome beard, since my dad can and did."

When that part of my life finally arrived, I grew it out. I shaved it once because I experimented with a mustache. But besides that, I've had a beard ever since I could have one.

How do I feel about my beard? My beard is my security blanket when the whole world is getting more and more screwed. But I can always count on my beard to keep on growing.
