I grew a beard because I have had an interest in it for years. I have tried goatees, chin strips, and several experiments, but I had never tried the beard until recently. Although I'm a young guy, I'm a serious and reserved individual, so it also suits my personality.

How do I feel about my beard? I definitely like it but, being my first attempt, there is a lot of room for improvement. I'm considering shaving it off to regrow it in a different shape with a higher cheek line. Still, it's quite an experience and it alters your look considerably.
