I grew my beard because I wanted to stand out. In school I was always the one kid who was quiet and non-confrontational. So I went unnoticed by almost every single person and just faded into the background. I wasn't even sure if I wanted a beard at the time, but I stopped shaving for a while and, after it started growing in, I loved it and have been growing it out since.

I really love it. My only downside is that my moustache is not as thick as I would like it to be.
